Region of our investigations is presented on the map. Its name is the "Donets-Don and Donets-Azov steppes". This region covers 3 administrative provinces of Eastern Ukraine, namely Kharkiv province (SE parts), Luhansk province and Donetsk province (in a whole).

Asteriks indicate main reserved territo­ries, whose fauna is the object of our investigations: Kamjani Mohyly, Khomu­tovsky step, Kreminski Lisy, Krejdjana Flora, Provalsky step, Prydintsivska Zaplava, Striltsivsky step, Svjati Gory. Presentations of some scientifical results are presented on the ukrainian version of this page.
